Now, I'm getting set to finish or redraft other work over the next couple of months, plus aiming to send out completed stories. I definitely need to start making a daily or weekly list - keeping too much in my head at times, which is a bad idea if I don't want to forget anything important. So it's onwards and upwards!
For romance lovers, one of my publishers, MuseItUp, is offering a Back to School 3 for 2 promotion on romance novels for mums (and dads). Just go to the MIU Bookstore and make your choice, using the code.
Meanwhile, over on my Flights of Imagination blog, YA author Penny Estelle tells us how she uses legend and history as inspiration for her time-slip books. Penny is kindly going to draw a name from commenters to win a copy of one of her books.

That's a really beautiful photo, Rosemary.
I also love the feeling of reorganisation and that September brings and hope that ongoing projects can take off and be finished. It's time to stay at the writing desk for longer periods and hopefully discover some fantastic results from all the hard work.
I'm so pleased that your edits have gone well and are now complete. That must be an amazing feeling. You must be looking forward to publication in October. Will you have a launch on your blog? If so. I shall look forward to it very much.xx
I hear you on the reorganization. I usually do that after I finish writing a book, which I've just done, but the office is SUCH a MESS... I don't really know where to start.
Congratulations on your latest release for October. Sounds like a great read. I'll have to check it out.
I love September as well, Rosemary. Even though I'm no longer a teacher I think the 'New School Year' thing is still engrained in me - it really makes me want to get on and do things.
Well done on completing the edits, nightmare! I like autumn too, we sometimes have some lovely weather. Fingers crossed.
Hi Joanna - thank you for your lovely comment. I also like those rose hips by the river. Yes - will definitely have a blog party when the novel is out!
Hi Anne - many thanks. Glad you do the same!
Hi Wendy - I can understand that way of thinking after being used to a new beginning each September!
Hi Cara - it's a relief, as you know! As long as it remains fairly dry, I'll be very happy (though it tends to rain a lot).
Congratulations on finishing the edits - can't wait to read the finished product now! You're almost making me view Autumn positively...if only the mornings stayed light!
Thanks, Vikki! I can understand your feelings about getting up on dark mornings.
I think September must be the new January. I've just made a list of things to do and be done!
You might be right, Jean!
